For more than two decades, Ian advised Triton Container International and its affiliated companies through successive roles as outside counsel and, from 2012 to 2016, as Vice President & General Counsel. - Lead counsel to the issuer in three industry-first securitizations, including the first rated asset-backed securitization by a container lessor, the first aircraft securitization recognizing two concurrent asset managers, and the first aircraft securitization providing for the periodic issuance of warehouse notes.
- Legal support for the acquisition, financing, leasing, management, and disposition of more than 90 commercial passenger and freighter aircraft, and one of the world's largest fleets of intermodal containers.
- Collaborative design, implementation, preservation, and evolution of integrated global ownership, financing, and investment structures supporting the efficient deployment and preservation of the company’s human, financial, intellectual, and physical resources.
- Syndicated credit facilities, institutional private debt placements, structured finance transactions, and cross-border commercial matters.
